About

Photography makes me see, it makes me think, it makes me happy! I can get lost in a great photo that tells a story. I am most passionate about photographing people specifically, as each person, each couple, each new baby is unique and fascinating to me.

My style is documentary photojournalism, and my unobtrusive style allows me to capture my subjects in their most authentic state. My photographs portray the sometimes unconventional beauty that makes each person interesting. I think having a great photograph like this of someone that you love is truly priceless.

So many people have welcomed me into their homes and lives and I have been honored to be a part of some of their most important days. As much as I love the process of creating a photograph, I get most excited when I am able to give the photos back to the people who will enjoy them for years to come. My goal is that you have fun, enjoy every moment of your event, and eventually get to experience it again through the photographs!

Sewell Photography Studio

Sewell Photography studio is located in South Minneapolis. Our space is shared with award winning Minneapolis floral design company 'Just Bloomed', and although the business are completely separate, we enjoy sharing and collaborating together whenever possible.
